Milestone Questions, Answered Straight
Yes — this is one of the most common ways the car is hired. You book and pay; they drive. The person driving still needs to be named at booking, aged 25–70 with a full licence held two years, and we take their DVLA check code at handover. We are good at keeping a secret until the car pulls up.
£595 for a full day, all-inclusive: insurance for the named driver, 150 miles, a professional detail before handover, and your concierge from enquiry to return. A weekend is £1,495 with 450 miles. There are no occasion surcharges and no hidden fees.
Most of our drivers have not. The handover is calm and unhurried — gearbox, roof, drive modes, where the width is — and the R8 is quattro four-wheel drive, which makes it far more forgiving than its looks suggest. Nobody is thrown the keys and left to it.
